We came to Framlingham castle the other weekend - what a fabulous
day. We'd intended to stay for a couple of hours on our way home
from Suffolk, but stayed the day. Something of interest for everyone
from 6 year olds to 52 year olds!
Great activities, really interesting, fun view of history.
GREAT. We all really enjoyed ourselves.

We wanted to send a quick note to let you know how much we
enjoyed our day at Hatfield Forest in your "village".
The children enjoyed watching the spatula being made from branch
to finished item. The ferrets, and horse were also both a big
hit!
The re-enactors were all very informative, and engaging, the
children particularly enjoyed the talk about the different types
of arrows, (our son was the willing "victim"!). The
archery display by the bowmen and women, and the armoury and combat
demonstration were informative, and fun.
We've not seen bowmen/women aim at moving human targets before!
Thanks to all for a fantastic day.

What great day out! The Norman Keep at Hedingham, took on
the role of home to the visiting medieval household of the Company
of Saint Joseph, and they fulfilled all my expectations of providing
a real living history experience, they educated, informed and
entertained visitors young and old, for those looking for a group
that really live and breath what they do, look no further you
have found them.

We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the event
that the Company of Saint Joseph attended at Wrest Park. The enthusiasm
of the group certainly shone through and helped make the day a
great one.
(To Colin) You gave my boys 2 of your own arrows - they
were really thrilled and inspired - so much so that we will be
starting a beginners archery course and see where that leads us!
Keep up the good work/past-time.
Best wishes

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone I spoke to
who was involved with the living history display at Wrest Park,
Silsoe, Bedfordshire on the st Georges day festival this April
2009. Great event and really enjoyed talking to some of the members
of the Company of St Joseph.
I just wanted to say a big thank you to Ian Flint who I spoke
to at length about martial arts, and who involved me in part of
the self defence demonstration, much to my wife and children's
amusement.

We were delighted with what you did for us. The camp was first
class, with lots of things for visitors to look at and to talk
about. We were impressed with the way all the members of the group
were able to explain what was taking place, and explain about
how armour and weapons were made and used. The group presented
a really colourful spectacle. Thank you also for taking part in
the procession, which was so successful it will now become a regular
part of King Harold Day.

The Company of Saint Joseph put on an excellent weekend on
our property. Visitors and staff members alike were delighted
with the professional re-enactors and the level of authenticity
they were able to provide. The displays were really popular and
drew in a huge crowd. All re-enactors were incredibly knowledgeable
about the time period and all of their crafts. A truly impressive
weekend.

I would like to say a huge thank you to you and everyone else
for working so hard at the Time Travellers event at Dover. We
have received some great feedback about how interesting the living
history and the arena displays were. I felt the event worked very
well with you all on Palace Green, it created a lovely authentic
area where visitors felt fully immersed in medieval life. So thanks
again.
